BeZero Carbon
Aoibheann is the Principal Geospatial Scientist at BeZero Carbon. Her work primarily involves the use of statistical and machine learning methods to understand the impact of interventions such as forestry projects upon carbon emissions, along with the integration of uncertainty in carbon curve analysis. Aoibheann previously worked at Cervest, developing statistical models for rare event prediction for a variety of climate hazards under various climate change scenarios. Prior to that, she was in academia, where her research focussed on problems at the intersection of Bayesian & spatial statistics, climate change and the environment.
JBA Trust
Rob Lamb is director of the JBA Trust. A hydrologist and numerical modeller by training, his interests are in climate resilience and risk management.
University of Oxford
Professor Colin Please works on the mathematical modelling of physical phenomena arising in practical problems and interpreting the results into the original context. His research takes place at the interface of mathematics with other disciplines primarily engineering, and bioscience.
Leiden University
Vivi Rottschafer is a specialist in dynamical systems theory and partial differential equations with a focus on applications in life sciences.
University of Birmingham
Rosemary Dyson is a Professor in Applied Mathematics at the University of Birmingham.
