Leiden University
Vivi Rottschafer is a specialist in dynamical systems theory and partial differential equations with a focus on applications in life sciences. She has joint projects with researchers in pharmacology on drug distribution, delivery and effect, and with environmental scientists. Vivi is Associate Professor at the Mathematical Institute, Leiden University and Industrial Mathematics Professor by special appointment at the Korteweg-de-Vries Institute, University of Amsterdam.
Vivi is chair of the National Committee `Study Group Mathematics with Industry’ which coordinates the organisation of the Dutch `Study Group Mathematics with Industry’ and she is member of the local organisation of the large international conference International Congress on Industrial and Applied Mathematics (ICIAM), 12 – 17 July 2027.
