Transfer day provided a wonderful opportunity for staff and PGR students in the Department of Mathematical Sciences to hear from SAMBa students who are starting their PhD research. In a series of engaging presentations, seven students presented an overview of the preparatory work they have been doing and their planned research directions. Members of cohort 11, who joined us in September, also introduced themselves.
