Staff and PGR students in the Department were treated to fantastic presentations from SAMBa students who are starting their PhD research.
Transfer day provided a wonderful opportunity for staff and PGR students in the Department of Mathematical Sciences to hear from SAMBa students who are starting their PhD research. In a series of engaging presentations, seven students presented an overview of the preparatory work they have been doing and their planned research directions. Members of cohort 12, who joined us in September, also introduced themselves.
During the break we were introduced to some of the members of cohort 12 who have joined SAMBa this academic year: Ben Holland Young, Laurin Ernst, Liz Wright, Fiona Davies, Oliver Brady, Rick Phillipps, Salomon Hagenimana, Shiyi Ding and Theo Kazanas
