Professor Tim Mays Tim has interests in mathematical and statistical modelling, computer simulation and analysis of absorption and mass transfer processes in porous engineering materials for gas storage and separation applications. A major topic is hydrogen storage in low-carbon fuel-cell vehicles. Methodologies include integral and partial differential equations, Monte Carlo simulations (in various ensembles including the grand canonical) and non-linear regression analysis.
