Mark graduated from Newcastle university in 2021 focusing his master’s dissertation on computational modelling of Bose-Einstein condensates. For his PhD, he is researching ways to improve the efficiency of some numerical Krylov methods, which apply to quantum mechanics more generally. Outside of mathematics, Mark’s interests lie in travelling and he has taken multiple trips to volunteer across the globe. He is also a huge Arsenal fan and has been into football for as long as he can remember.
