Miles graduated from the University of Bath in 2022 with an MMath degree where he took modules in probability, analysis and algebra. His interests are centred around discrete probability, with his MMath project studying reinforced random walks, and an undergraduate research project exploring the Abelian sandpile model. Outside of mathematics, Miles is a passionate runner, whose favourite distance is the marathon. He also likes to cook and play the piano.
