Sangeetha graduated from the University of Madras with an MSc in Mathematics in 2021. During her Master’s, she did an internship and thesis in mathematical modelling of infectious diseases. Her master’s thesis is about the numerical investigation of COVID-19 models using fractional derivatives. She is interested in the Mathematical modelling of infectious diseases. Because of her deep interest in teaching mathematics, she designed an “Innovative math program” which teaches mathematics in a fun way. Also, She volunteered this program in different orphanages in Tamil Nadu, India. Outside of mathematics, she is also interested in social work, travelling, mountaineering, listening to music, and reading Tamil poems.
